Supercharged commodore?

Postby snwtoy » Wed Apr 04, 2007 10:01 pm

Is there such a thing, as a v6 s/c 2004 commy? (factory/hsv)

I'm sitting firmly in the no camp right now.

I think the last factory S/C Crummydore was the VY, so that would mean there were no factory S/C's after 2004.

Just because they're supercharged, they're not that quick. Alas both aside from being mean traffic light grandprix weapons - are relatively tardy once they are moving.

Turbo XR6s however, they have a bit of pep :D

The SC V6 no doubt exists, but does anyone know for sure if they were still around in 04? SC V6 motors were an option in the Monaro. They were around in 04 right?

The GM V6 is avaiable turbocharged in the USA. Holden have just taken use of the engine by the looks. No doubt they wanted to keep the power output less than their V8 for all sorts of reasons. They would probably make really decent power with a better setup, SC or turbo.

No, judging by the headlights that's a VY-II. They definitely dropped the S/C from the VZ line up.
