Since I picked up a gear synchro issue since the Gravel Sprint (doesn't make gear changing very easy anymore) and trying to nurse the Sentra through to Ashvegas, I might just be there as Assistant Clerk of Course.. .

(And since I can't slam through the gears it kind of makes a quarter mile event pointless) :)

Its always a big event the Quarter mile Event, be interesting to see who challenges the trophies this year - for all your info, here are the Quarter Mile Class winners from last year and their times... of course its been a whole year, and a whole years worth of additions and tinkering with the car to go with it (eh Logan?)

Class 1 - Geoff Watson - Toyota Starlet - 15.08

Class 2 - Logan Stephens - Toyota Corolla - 15.00

Class 3 - Peter Flewellen - Fraser - 14.56

Class 4 - Jeremy Lush - Lotus 7 - 13.03

Class 5 - Allan McCormick - Subaru WRX - 12.58

:)

if i find lots of motivation and money. but i wanna at least race it before street sprints, cause its gana have loads more power than im used to, and brand new tyres that im not used to/not scuffed up.

Id rather get a refund than smash the car up at ash street sprints. Unless i used a hammer to smash it, that'd be fun.

would love to run at it,

but would make car racing 7 weekends in a row,

and the budget don't stretch that far,

Need to have a weekend off in there somewhere to get some other stuff done or the Missus will complain too.

ditch the hairdrier and put a 3T in there. may be down on power, but you'll be there at the end of every event, unless you crash!

Less things have happened than more actually..

There are a heap of things going pear shaped at the moment.. but at the end of the day, we could use a start / finish flaggie for the day... anyone free? (Full training provided of course..)
