yes tomorrow are the last drags of the season, only found out tonight but ill be out there racing

2007 Last Blast

Gates open 8.00am
Scrutineering ends 10.15am
Qualifying from 10.45am
Racing from approx12.30pm

Gate Fee $12.00
Under 15 free

Street & Bike entry $25.00
Day Affilliation if needed +$15.00
Competition cars $50.00

congrats on the 15.0 brick

i was keepin an eye on those toyotas :), sad for the starley blew the diff head out landed on the track :(

yeah first i heard about the drags, how did everyone go??? And what was the traction like out on the strip?

not quite 15.0, was 15.4 but i had to leave early so didnt get to many runs. So with a better launch and better tires and with the rest of the engine finished there is no reason for high 14's. (besides the fact my car is in no way aerodynamic :lol: , got a new g/box for i anyways 8) )


track was quite slippery, i was still wheel spinning at 100kph

tires are the same ones from when i got the car over a year ago! which are about due to be changed.

next time at the drags if i dont get a 15.0 or better ill buy you a beer luke :lol:

yep, with the white fibreglass doors big GTR on the sides. he was just testing the new gearbox out first run in about a year.. OS GIKEN 6 speed sequential DROOLL :lol:

what tyres were you running anyway?? I don't find there's much of a gain when you try to heat up road tyres on the burnout pad, doesn't really achieve much apart from show you how well you can spin ya front skidder :lol:

It's all about the skidz dude.


The other thing is making sure you don't start your burnout in the water, road tyres wont generally generate enough heat to evaporate the water so it'll just drip down from the wheel arch onto your wheels while you is staging.

even though they were only shitty road tis doing the burnouts did help

and yea its all about the skids!
