Newbie clutch question

Just a question.

Whats the difference between a Recessed 4agze flywheel (ae92) and the non recessed flywheel (ae101)

I dont know what is recessed, as in the flywheel sits closer to the engine? THe engines output spline is shorter? What?

Google didnt come up with much!

I just got a ae92 GZE clutch and am hoping to use it with my 20V flywheel. Im sure they are both 6 bolt and good sources told me it will work. I just want to feed my curiosity.

the 4AGZE flywheels are completely different from the 4age ones.
4age is a conventianal flat flywheel
the 4agze one has castlelattions around it that mount the cover.

But i was told the pressure plate would be compatible with the flywheel

For the record smallport 4agze (ae101) are recessed also.
