this is the only place ive ever gone where the word s.hit is replaced with the word shizzle
shizzle mans good great awasome the best etc
makes everthing a c.unt to understand
and as for the flange thing... ffs i know my grammer is bad but there nothign more sad then stupid potty words liek that
i c.unts in teh dictionary so why teh hell cant we have it on it the froum
were i come from cu.nt means frustration and has nothign to do with womans bits..all it dose is assosiate the word with the female part witch is what im guessing you were tring to prevent
there are pleanty of other words that atauualy mean somehing instead of that word

Not sure who applied them, but i've modded them a little..

the main reason they're there is so that people who are viewing from work, or networks that are governed apps as webmarshal, can view them without having pages blocked due to inappropriate language that the webmarshal finds when it scans the page.

so more people can view and contribute more.

Personally I like the word filters. I think it makes Toyspeed a more professional forum. You still get the inference without getting the needless blasphemy.

Good point in vvega's initial post. swapping a word like sh*t for shizzle is like swapping candy for potato's - they (in slang) dont mean the same thing.
Otherwise, in general I agree with Redmist that a word filter has aplace on forums...as long as it does not confuse the profanity one is trying to convey lol :lol:

i agree with the filterr....just prefer asterisks....or words that are in the dictionary meaning the same think but not slang.....flange is as offensive as cu.nt to many people and as for sh.it.....poo's is a good replacement
