Trailer Wheel bearing - Trojan

Postby MrOizo » Thu Apr 26, 2007 8:04 pm

Does anyone out there know how to remove a hub assembly on a trailer?

i have taken pretty much everything off, wheel, castle nut, caliper.

just cant seem to get the rest of it off to replace the bearings.

is this something that needs a puller/press or should tapping it out with a hammer do? :?

Here are some pics of it :o

put the wheel back on. Drop it back on the ground to put some weight on it.
lift it back up and kick the wheel till it loosens off. Looks like someone over tightened the bearings and cooked it....
