Track Day:
Location:- Powerbuilt Raceway, Christchurch
Date:- Saturday 2nd June 2007
Time:- Track: 9.00am – 5pm, Drinks: 7.15pm
Cost:- $115 NZHondas.com members and non members. Every other day from now on will be more expensive.
Entrants:- Max of 44 competitors (1 entrant per car, i.e.; no multiple drivers).
For more info:
http://nzhondas.com/phpBB2/2007-south-i ... 64369.html

Track Night:
A bus-trip around will leave from Bush-Inn Super Liquor at 7.30, and will travel around Christchurch to all the suburban pubs and bars – before heading into town at midnight, where we can all hit the clubs. It is advised you arrive at the spot at 7.15. There may be a small fee for this, please let me know via PM if you are keen to do this so we can get an idea of numbers.

Sunday:
Depending upon how people feel, we may organise a barbeque at one of the parks for the Sunday. This will be decided upon at a later date.

This is Queens Birthday Weekend! The Monday is a holiday, so everyone should have plenty of time to get back home to where they need to be! Lets make this weekend just as good as our NIMMs!

Thanks
Chris (VTAKYO) & James (GecKo)
SIMM 07 Co-ordinators

Anyone after anymore info can P/msg me. Thanks!

We didn't advertise it on here expecting to get more Hondas to turn up ;)

Here's a list of the current entrants:

AE86 Legacy RS
BB4 Prelude Si Turbo
CF4 Accord SiR-T
CL1 Accord Euro-R
DA6 Integra XSi
DC Integra
DC2 Integra Type-R
DE3A FTO GPX
EF7 CRX Si
EF7 CRX Si b16a
EF8 CRX SiR
EF8 CRX SiR
EF9 Civic SiR
EK Civic Type-R
EK Civic VTi-S
EK3 Civic VTi b18cr
EK9 Civic Type-R
Impreza WRX
Nissan NX Coupe
S14 Silvia Ks

Obviously there is going to be more Hondas than anything else, but that just means you'll feel better about yourself when you beat the slow ones

In all seriousness, anyone and everyone is welcome, we just want to have as much racing for the competitors and the spectators on the day as possible!

You haven't crashed it on a Motorkhana yet Chris :) (not that its really a track..)

Plus I'm taking my Sentra for laps at half time, so not only the slow Honda boys, Matt and you will have something to easily beat :)

Just think positive man, you'll be right :P

At the moment we're looking like we're going to have about 30 cars, not as many as we hoped but it does mean more track time for people that do come along.

So you are entering Motorsport weekend man? Nice :)

Be good fun seeing the CRX on the Speed day :) We actually worked out at the Speed meeting tonight if you enter the Speed event & the Autocross its cheaper to enter the whole weekend (Autocross, Motorkhana, Trial and Speed event).

I just hope my gearbox holds up after the Vegas Sprints :)

(and if it lives through that, hopefully do some laps at the NZH meet)

Only got one toyota entered! Surely there must be some guys/gals wanting to give it a shot ;) If you're keen on the day, just rock up (or flick me a pm), there is plenty of spaces left.

Also:

Thanks to Peter at Super Classic Auto Touring, there will be an Ariel Atom at the day offering hot laps to who ever is game enough, for a fee ;) At the moment he's thinking that will be around the $50 mark, but that will be confirmed on the day.

I may be keen for this if you're still doing it in a year or so (or however long it takes me to start building up my NA Skyline track car).

Why is it going to be more expensive from now on though?

Depends on the number of people we actually get coming to this one. If you do the math on the hirage of the track on a weekend by the amount of people we've got coming, you'll see we're running this day at a loss. We're prepared to do that once, but not twice.
