Ae 92 GTZ block and head, Ae101 Running gear. Help!

Postby TrickyRichGTZ » Wed May 09, 2007 5:05 pm

Ok, so i did and engine swap in my ae101 GTZ trueno. The only engine i could find/ afford was an AE92 levin gtz engine, which i believe has a big port with AFM head. So we chucked on my Ae101 supercharger, inlet manifold with map sensor etc.

Is this setup ever going to work? As you can guess from my explanation i have not much clue what i'm talking about however my mate who is trying to fix it know a bit more. But we still don't know if its possible to run Bigport head with smallport manifold etc. Please if anyone can shed some light on the situation that would be awesome. Cheers guys (and girls) :?

I to am not an expert with these engines but AE101 4agze were small port so the manifold will fit on fine however flow from the inlet manifold will be a bit stuffed up but it will go.

To check if it small port or big port measeure the width of the inlet ports on the head, if i remeber correctly small ports are 50mm think big port are like 55mm or something do a search and you'll find it.

But if your just using the block and head me thinks it will run, however how good i can't tell you, you'll just have to find out the hard way
