plastic/skirt repairs

Postby barryogen » Fri May 11, 2007 11:33 am

So I'm driving along rather spiritedly on a gravel road, come round a corner, and find that there is a big f**k-off rock on the road, too late to dodge, so I slow down and try steer around it, ended up hitting it, and taking a chunk out of my front skirt, and ripping the wheel bay plastic cover out(pics to come).

So, where in dunedin is the best/best for money for repairs and painting... may aswell get the back re-painted aswell(from the carpark incident)

well, they'll have to wait until after the weekend, I only have my cellphone, and it has no flash, so pics would be rather dark.

Damage was fairly minor, but still enough to annoy, and probably cost a packet too.

Well, I get car back this afternoon. After pricing an inner guard lining, I ended up claiming insurance as my excess was less than $20 more than the part alone, and some of the clips were gone too. and the back of the car was a $180-300 re-spray depending on who I asked.

Havent got the before pics, I took them, but they were pretty crappy with my cell phone, and I wont bother with after photos either, as most if not all of you have seen an un-broken RunX before :)

I don't know if I have seen an un-broken RUNX, that back bumper has been damaged for as long as I can remember.

How am I going to recognise your car NOW :!: :!:

How about the big dave.net.nz across the back window?

The back bumper was only done about 6 months ago I think... but not too sure, can't remember... too traumatic
