E52 gearbox questions

Im wondering if you can fit a gze mr2 gearbox (E52) into a fwd ae92 I know some mods have to be done like the selector, but what/ how is the best way to do this? thanks in advance guys

yes it can be done, you need the shifter parts from a front drive E series gearbox and possibly the centre case, let me know if you want to do that as I have all the parts you'll require in my "E series G'bag parts box"

I think the na aw11s came with a c series while the sc aw11s had the stronger e series box

i get confused with this also,
the way i see it its
e51- sc mr2 (some where lsd)
e52 - sc levin/trueno ae92 (some where lsd)
e58 sc levin/trueno ae101 (all lsd)
although i have heard some ae101 gtz boxes arnt lsd???
can anyone confrim these numbers

No sorry on my part had to go and check but the aw11 does indeed have a E51 box
