If you run the factory setup to intake->throttlebody->s/c->manifold. Then no. You can't.

If you want to get all fancy and change the intake around you can. But why?

you dont need a BOV on a supercharger set up. BOV's just prevent back spoil and as the SC runs off the crank and is controlled by the motor it shouldnt be a problem

YOu can fit one but its useless. youll probably lose power because of the releasing presure..

Dont bother.

As already mentioned, it depends on what intake you plan on running. If you have the throttle down stream from the S/C, then you do need one, they normally called bypass valves on supercharger setups (same thing though). Just use a recirc design one, so it doesn't make a crazy noise the whole time.

If you're still using the GZE manifold and throttle arrangement, then no, don't bother.

as others have said dont use one. I have the sc14 rinning on my wagon with a modified by pass valve. Was thinking about a BOV but its just a wank thing. When you head the SC14 scream you will be smiling from ear to ear...trust me!!!

I feel like such a d**k being the only one here with a BOV on mine

There is a reason for it though, but it's a pain in the ass to listen to :(

zak ur a legend having a bov on ur setup... its a primo setup... the only reason u should feel like a dick is for wanting to turbo it instead of keeping the unique supercharged 20v setup

when i had the setup matt is running it had the abv... i wouldnt get rid of the abv unless ur running and aftermarket computer... the abv was bleeding off boost on my setup so i didnt have to add more fuel to compensate...

I'm not sure what the plan is yet, I have a turbo, and flanges to do it, but I love the sound of the superchager and it's awsome for over taking

I just need to plumb the BOV back in, and make it a bit easier to drive off boost, I might hook up a switch to it or some thing for now.

All though I do less than 20km a week in the thing, so it's not too much of a problem at the moment.

Trust me mate...the charger DOES NOT hit the ABV. There is very little room between the charger and the ABV but its all good.

remember he's rwd matt... so its different.
the abv also bypasses air when the supercharger is off boost to make it nicer to drive off boost

Thanks for the pics rick :D

Is the 1g-gze one much of an upgrade over the 4a one, or would aftermarket be the way to go?

Cheers
