A week or two ago the Greek (GOLDAE86) and Andrew (Distrb) were kind enough to do a charger swap on my car as it use to make 11 odd psi and then it became less and less til it got to 4 psi and was making the hell screamer pipe sounds comin from the engine area and the boost would get no higher than 4psi.
Anyways we got old charger off only to find it had oil (engine not charger oil) in it not loads but quite abit and I was thinking that could have been the problem as too much lube would make it not spin properly at higher rpm. We put the new charger on and got it all back together...took for test drive and waaaa-laaa 11 psi every gear it was like heaven
.....Now a week or 2 later its started making the screamer pipe sound again and its only making 5-7 psi again.....So I'm thinking that oils got back in there sumhow.
Havent talked to the greek yet but I just wanna know what ideas you guys have as im a student and dont have loads of cash to keep spending on the car.
1. So where its normally would make the like 5-11 psi it makes like a screaming sound which is quite loud outsyd the car....
2. The old charger making the same sort of sound had oil in it
3. I dont know heaps bout cars but want to know what you guys reckon
4. Between the greek and andrew they'll prob figure it pretty good but any helps really appreciated!!
