3sgte knock sensor

Postby ALLTREC_TURB » Fri May 18, 2007 5:51 pm

Hey guys,

the knock sensor on my motor has the plug broken off it, I have got ahold of one from apparently a 5s or something, it all fits fine and looks identical apart for the plug, If i wire it up should it still work properly even though its from a different motor?

like hell they are $400

iv found with 4age/zes that they are not interchangable, and im fairly sure that goes for the 3sgte as well.

From my experience or (lack of it) they all the same pretty much but the plug. Obviously some might be more sensitive than others??

But as for 3sgte and 3sge they the same and work both ways. Plug different. I just cut end off and attach new plug and insulate it or just gut the casing part off and just plug the connector part in.
