Not unless you've got a AE101 GTZ
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

2nd hand LSD's are like rocking horse poo.
The most likely place to find one would be Palmside in Chch. 03 3389151
Whilst you're on the phone with Deane ask him to price up a new Quaife unit.

Failing that, a new TRD unit is your best bet.

I would but i dont have that type of money to throw around. id rather enter a rally with the money. i just need something cheap to get it going.

Yours is not an uncommon dilemna.

Whilst I applaud your enthusiasm to get out there & compete in the world's greatest sport, sometimes a little bit of circumspect will pay dividends.

A $200 2nd hand viscous LSD unit is likely to last less time on a rally stage than it took to install it.

Your first rally will likely cost you about as much as the cost of a TRD LSD.

Sitting out one event and using the money saved to buy the correct equipment may ensure greater enjoyment, better results and less wasted expenditure at future events.

By & large FWD Toyota rally cars are not cheap to build but if done correctly from the outset they generally provide very good reliable service.

as above

if you fit that box to your rally car you WILL be slower.
the ratios will be shocking.

you really do need a good LSD for a FWD gravel car

The path of least resistance is to get a new TRD LSD, it seems like a lot, but compared to figgiing around miss matching GTZ parts with std 101 parts, fitting the LSD is the easier option.

If you were to put it in a box you already have, (and not re-con anything) you should get away with it just under $2k.

My experience was around 2500 - 3000 as there are always little bits you 'might as well do now' while your at it.. mounts, flywheel, clutch, bearing, syncros etc...

and its well worth it :D :D
