Getting underside of car resealed.... $?

Postby RomanV » Tue May 29, 2007 1:58 pm

Okay so it's about time to pull the engine/gbox back out of my Carina, so I can fit my clutch/flywheel, put in my new fuel tank, fuel lines, etc etc.

Since I'm pulling most of the stuff back out anyway, I figure it's a good time to get the underside of the car resealed etc.

So, does anyone have any idea what this would cost to get done?
I'd want to get the underside cleaned, stripped of crappy old underseal, decent primer, then a layer or two of protective undercoating stuff.
I'd do it myself, but previous expereince tells me that I'd make a bloody mess, spend just as much time and money, and end up with a job done that isnt quite as good.

Or any reccomendations for where to get this done in (preferably west) Auckland region? Thanks.

I had my last vehicle done, by the guys that do tuff decks. Took them an hour cost $200 and it was as hard as. looked real mint. I think there are different colour options now too.
