hey
my 5k makes a ticking sound, gets faster as the revs get higher. could this be the tappets need resetting? or something worse?
drives fine

Yeah sounds like tappets. Well its the first thing I'd be checking.

Tappets, or an exhaust leak.

Its one of the most common issues with K series engines with extractors!
