Ive heard rumours but does anyone know for sure if Supra seats will fit straight into a soarer? Or will the rails have to be modified. Talking bout the '91-94 models

Nah they just the factory seats in it at the mo. Though about throwing in some race seats but want to try & keep it looking more "luxury" & less racerish if i can. So I wanna score some leather supra seats as I think it will be a good upgrade & still look factory

Cool, have you done it before? Whats your opinion is it worth putting them in, are they much better? They definitely look better from all pics ive been looking at.

No, but I know a few people I trust who have, and I'm also in the process of getting a pair to do it.

Obviously I think it's worth doing but you may not, might pay to go for a car yard wander to find a Mk4 to sit in and see what you think. I'm doing it more for support than looks, and I can't really afford proper seats atm (not a fan of cheap aftermarket seats) and I can't be assed with the hassles of going to fixed backed seats

The other thing to be aware of, is you may need to cert them as the seatbelt mounting is on the rails/seat. You'll probably get away with it at warrant times and the like, but it may come up at some stage. It might be a bit of a grey area as you're technically not modifying them, but I haven't asked anyone to get a definitive answer.

Good idea, i mite go visit some caryards this weekend.
Yea Ive had aftermarket recaros installed in the past & really cant be bothered going through all that hassle with getting new rails & wofs again. So thought the supra seats would be a nice easy upgrade.

Let me know how you go installing them mate.
