AE92 Fuel pressure Reg.

Postby Crampy » Sun Jun 03, 2007 4:51 pm

Hi.
I'm wanting to know if the fuel pressure reg from a AE92 GT-Z is the same part number as the N/A Bigport Redtop reg from an AE92 FXGT.

I've heard they are, but need a definitive answer.

Also, are they rising rate regulators?
As in, with boost they increase fuel pressure at the same rate.

Cheers.

Sweet.
Cheers, that helps heaps.
Just shows you can't believe everyone on the internet.
It was someone on this site that said the fuel regs are the same.

Now if they have different part numbers and even bolt onto a different place on the fuel rail, then they can't be the same part, can it...
Shame on that person for saying that :x

ok the numbers you have up there are incorrect.... they arnt applicable to anything in the JAP epc. unless they have superceded from something, but they are not ae92 part numbers. also the first one, 23270. is the damper, not the regulater.
where did you find them?

GTZ regulater p/n is 23280-16051
and the GT APEX reg is 23280-16080

Oh sweet, cheers Warwick.

Even though they are in different places on the rail, are they interchangeable at all?

Do you know if either of them are proper rising rate regulators Warwick?

they look pretty similar on the epc, but i cant say for sure if they will swap.
and no idea if rising rate... epc is a little devoid of tech info!!

Also, does anyone know if they are rated to the same pressure? 2.9 BAR from memory, does that sound correct?

Looks about right to me.
Just had a talk to Brendon and he said the fuel feed for the GT-Z is on the opposite side of the rail to the N/A car.

Yet to see if the regulators are interchangeable and whether or not they are rising rate.
