On the plus side, its got a toyota gearbox.. That pricked my ears up!

This would be extremly cool to now transplant into an old mini!

Mazda 323 fwd conversion kit to adapt 12a engine to front wheel drive gearbox, kit comes complete with custom flywheel, custom cv input shaft, bearing retainer, custom starter motor bracket and i will require gearbox to machine starter position into gearbox housing. $ POA

Mazda rotary fwd conversion kit to adapt 12a engine to late model Toyota corona front wheel drive gearbox, kit comes complete with custom adapter plate, custom flywheel, custom driveshaft and bearing retainer and retains original starter motor and clutch $ POA

The honda I believe uses the same style kit as the above with corona gbox, done by avenue autoport.

There has also been a number of FWD BG mazda sedan rotarys floating around.

Their SP20 isn't 4WD, and as far as I know they never made a 4WD one. James built the original orange Familia FWD wagon.

Unless your talking about the OLD Lawton rotorsport car which was a 323 sedan, rwd had the plate [26B323] from what i remember, was a pale green colour and ran well into the 11's before they retired it.

That was a later stage of development, it won the burnout comp at the '99 I think when it first debuted with a 13B

That was built well after they'd done the 20B323.

The power that they make for the physical size of the motor is cool... i'm not a big fan of rotors but if you lined that thing up in an fxgt or bzg im sure you would get ur ar*e handed to you... unless its just all noise and no power.

haha, thats what i was thinking... id own it just for the sheer WTF factor...

If I wanted WTF factor. I'd go ahead with my plan of putting a fwd V6 turbo in the boot of an EB civic...... or in one of those 3cyl daihatsu thingies. Then make sure it looked like there wasnt a big engine in the boot
