Bonnet flip.

Ok so hinges made and all is just tacked together so what u think...

also as people commented on in last post about this, having hooks like the bmw does i can turn the old hinges into a bracket that will stop the bonnet moving back in a crash, don't need it for cert but its gona take 20mins todo it so why not!

Is that as far as it can open? It looks like the front is going to hit the bumper?

Making the car harder to work on, harder for people to see the engine, err.... FTW?

I dont get why you're doing this TBH.... To me it makes as much sense as going to an engineer and asking them to turn your knife into a fork and fork into a knife.

it opens basicly to vertical so not making it harder.... its just sitting at that position for the pics aint got a gas stay to move it right up yet, was just about at hitting point in thoes pictures but by moving the hinges about 20mm it fixed it gave it a better pivot point so works fine. its something differnt... that would be one kewl knife and fork

Something different. Good work ,, looks well done..

Its not a big issue to remove the bonnet all together to do the work on your engine. I often do it on my gtz.

u can do a quick oil check and change with the bonnet like that.

thanks guys was starting to worry about no feedback/bad feedback if i had a pic of it standing right up and down u would see its not gona make it hard to work on at all... beside i shouldnt have to work on it (i hope) as u can see the bog all spare holes have been removed and all, gona put the powersteering,wiper fluid,rad overflow into 3 custom stainless tanks and run braided hoses to them all, makes it easyer and nicer plus cuts out ALOT of extra bend's and stuff. was gona deseem it to but meh it is being built for speed... and if it twists on launch there goes the bog in the seem!

hahaha i had the option to buy a curren with a stuffed front wasnt gona change front to space frame rwd it and put a whole fibreglass front on it, u can actuley see just in thoes pics a space frame trike we have been doing and well i own a fibreglass factory so would be extremely easy! but wouldnt be able to drive it on the street then!

FTW. Just goes to show how much time some Toyspeeders have actually spent working on their own cars (no offence tho).

Hey Infinite you could paint the inside of your bonnet white, and use it as a screen for a roof mounted projector?! :D How's that for in car entertainment. :P

Dont get me wrong though Infinite, I like what you've done with the rest of the car, I mean no disrespect when I say that I cant see the point of what you're doing with the bonnet, it's just my opinion.
