Rocked up to Harvey carpark a couple of weeks back. No one there. :?

Does the Christchurch segment actually exist, or is it forum based now?

The old members meet was mentioned by Pocket Rocket (forget ya name sorry) but nothing happened from that as far as i know.

Mike, the Christchurch segment does exist, but is forum based these days as no one shows up to organised meets and events.

I'm always happy to pop down on a thursday if a member (anyone) puts forward the idea they want a meet next thursday, anyone can do so. But I don't turn up each week now in the off chance that someone might show up.

Not sure i'll make thursday due to health problems, but go nuts 8)

yeah it does suck. I think it would have survived ok if enough new blood had come through the system and taken part in meets / events. But its the same group of people turning up to the events, and over time that group has slowly decreased in numbers to a point where its not viable.

tis a shame indeed

so maybe if people would get some enthusiasm about chch ts and actually be there at events proposed then it'd be alot better. It sure has gone downhill in the last year which is a shame. Infact there are almost more of us on here that turn up to the ruapuna speed events each month than thursday meets

The thing i found the most sad was the dis-connection between the guys that owned Hachi's and the rest of chch ts. If they actually had turned up to ts events as much as they did to their own, then there would have been a decent amount of people.

Any where we could meet up on the weekend (day time) to have a get together? Nights are out for me.

Yeah well mine is off the road at moment so that'd be out of the question, i believe what i've been hearing some people have changed their chosen path and gone into later model fwd ( ) toyotas, not many of us original owners left

Could make something on a Sunday perhaps, if most people aren't working, and weather allowing go for a bit of a drive round the port hills? Im keen to meet some fellow TSers.

Okay then, any other people keen on this idea get in contact with me. I wouldn't be trying to organise anything in next couple of weeks as i'm in the process of shifting into my new place
