The headlight in the original post are these civic headlights:

modded to fit inside a levin frame type thing, I know we have established this but I thought I'd say so just for reference.

They're $450 for the pair.

Slydesigns : would it be cheapish if I got these and you made the bit that goes around the light? (if I send you these and a pair of levin headlights)

you'd need a pair of factory lights, a pair of donor projector lights (the pop through len as you called it) and then the angel rings.
If you can find the first two, then yeah I can do them easy enough.

the projector units and the halos unscrew out of those lamps real easy. HOWEVER, check that these arent USA spec ones, as if they are they are only $100 - $150 on ebay, shipped to your door, 4 days waiting!

Could you just make the outer bit of the headlight to adapt the civic headlights to my levin if I supply the projectors and some levin headlights (forget the angel rings if they're gona make it more expensive)

Probably, you should be able to do it as well. Its fairly straight forward as all the headlamps are made from plastic and esily cut, heated, moulded glued and fibreglassed

I'm a noob at fibreglassing, as in I haven't done a real job, just messed around with a small kit I bought.

I wouldn't know how to go about doing it either...

Are those usa lamps legal for NZ roads though?
(with the whole driving on the different side of the road thing)

arrarently not, but after adjusting my dipped light position all the way over to the left side of the road, I pass VTNZ warrants no probs, They spend more time trying to sort out if NOS is legal when they open the boot.

I'm more after the projector type headlight because ae101 levin headlights always $&#$% fog up on the inside which looks stupid and warrant people always bring it up.

So you can shut the $&#$% up.
