Sundays are good for me because I work saturday. I have missed the last few MR2 club runs as they have been on a saturday so a sunday out would be nice.

Sad, but true.

Akaroa would be out for me. Low tread on tyres arent good around corners.

Lets just say my tyres just passed my last wof. All four of them. Not bad for three years use.

And Elmo, I drive better then I used to. The Marino wouldn't take the corners like my ol' Pulsar did. Still remember the last cruise to Akaroa doing 90 on a 60 bend. I think Al was even surprised to see me still on the road.

not wanting to dishearten you, but if pick-up looks good, i will try to meet up, as for a cruise?? trailering my new booty ain't gonna happen. directions to the 'Groynes' would be advantageous, as i am not entirely sure where you will be??

basically it's off main north road, turn left if you head towards the motorway and groynes is maybe 4km or so up the road on right hand side. Or in your case travelling up from timaru you'd be best to come onto johns road . Groynes is signposted
