What really happens when I mod and cane my car ??

My apologies if this has been posted before, but it is the best basic
commentary on the realities of engine modification that I have seen :)

And to pre-emp the knockers, the writer is not bagging Toyotas, DIY
modifications or any particular minority group !!! The comments made
in the article could apply just as well to any other manufacturer. But
this guy makes a living from fixing and modifying cars, and specialises
in Toyotas, so I figure he knows what he is talking about.

Reading this before you mod your car may just prevent you from a
meltdown/blowup and save you a whole bunch of cash :D

interesting, though mostly on older engines..... would love to see a complete writeup on just the 2jz
