From my understanding the CT20b never came in steel. Even the WRC version is ceramic. It is however very common for them to be rebuilt in steel.

I have two rebuilt CT20b's here. One with a T04 steel wheel and one with a "CT26" (although it most certainly isnt) steel wheel. The steel noticibly increases lag to the point where if I wasnt running antilag I'd switch back to ceramic.

Personally, if your ceramic is good then I wouldnt switch to steel.

Bzzzzzz. Incorrect. All export ST205 had the metal turbine. I thought the WRC did too, but don't have the parts software handy.

What T04 turbine can be fitted? T04 is a much larger shaft isn't it? You aren't talking about the compressor wheel are you.

It would appear that I have very little understanding concerning turbos. Never seen a stock steel wheel... mind you never looked inside a WRC or NZ new turbo. :D
The T04 was fitted before my time.... and I think before Gonads time as well (previous owner). Its certainly steel. The rally turbo I wanted to keep it as small as possible so I just replaced the ceramic with steel (so antilag didnt destroy the turbo on the first stage). I was told at that point that if a CT20b steel wheel couldnt be sourced it could be bored for a T04 wheel. Wither or not either the statement is correct I cannot confirm.
