That bit about unregistered motor vehicle trading. Is that if you buy a car that is unregistered it is illegal? Or if you buy a car and don't inform LTSA etc that you are the new owner of that car that's illegal?

no it basically means if Joe Bloggs is selling more than 6 cars a year and he is not registered as a motor vehicle trader, then he can be fined up to $50,000, or if Joe Bloggs runs a company, up to $200,000

Ok so unregistered refers to the seller rather than the vehicle. Thanks for clarifying.

What do they clarify as a year?
from jan 1st to dec 31st?
or is it the same as a finacial year?

I no most of you think i sell alot of cars, mainly 90% are on behalf of my brothers, family an friends... Does look a little dodgy all on 1 username i must admit. Like to help them out where i can.

Always agree to the rules, no1 can afford a fine of that magntude!

It would only count if you changed the ownership of the cars into your name then sold them on
