Good stuff. Nice engine, only problem is that its in the wrong place and it drives the wrong set of wheels :P

Sorry, MR2 fan an all :P

Still, very tidy looking, inside and out, and engine bay too!
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

I just wanted a good semi-economical car, that was manual and not a pile of shit. While I save.

Coitus interruptus?

Nice Celica.

How did the buyer pull out, was he a wee shitkick? or older person, It highly pisses me off when I'm selling a car and people say they will buy it and don't.

For that reason I all ways get the buyer to put a non-refundable deposit down, or put one down my self if I'm buying.

I put down $500 on the 86 at first but ran into a bit of money trouble, so I offered to put more down so put down $2000 in total, and then bought it two weeks later.

If didn't get the rest of the money and I couldn't buy it. It would of been an expensive leson, but thats the risk you take I guess.

At least the time spent d**king around with them can be off set by the deposit they put down so it's not a total waste if the back out.

We were gona give him a $2500 trade for his AE101 Corolla, so that left him with only needing 9. Finance gave him some more, but then he needed a little bit extra, but couldnt get it from anywhere.
But I don't know why he didn't just go through us to get finaance, from like finance mart, etc. With a good security he would of got a good rate, better than him going through his own place.

But I think he just couldnt afford the payments and wasted 2 weeks of time.

Try agreeing on a sale with someone, arranging all the money (which takes some significant calling-in of favours), only to have the person send you a private message saying they've sold it to someone else ...
