After braided brake lines for the RX7.. But having some trouble.

Dads mate said there's some american online site that sells them ready made for heaps of cars.

Anyone know of places to buy ready made lines + fittings for a 92 FD3s RX7?

To run them on a road car they have to have the correct fittings and standard marking on them.

The older type that we used to use are not road legal.

Meant to make them safer,

but in about 10 cars we built we never had a failure, but with the two cars we built with the " standard marked" ones, had about 3 ends break/leak etc etc.

You will be able to get them in NZ, and can get them made up at ENZED and other similar outfits. If theres no need for road use then just go get them made mang...

Racetech in Lower Hutt are NZ agents for Goodrich.
For a long while they were the only standards approved braided lines you could buy. That may have changed more recently.

I did a group buy through Driven Performance with the help of Al for a bunch of sets of GoodRidge lines. They were fairly cheap to bring in and they comply with the right standards in NZ to be used on road cars.

Mossrax in Wellington 04 385 2998. I have braided brake and clutch lines done by them for my road legal track car. They are approved manufacturer of brake lines for warrants etc.

racebrakes FTW - they recently put a of the shelf set of goodridge lines on the back of my 205 , and customs up front ..

Quick turn around too - though if they are one off';s like my 205's , they do need samples

So if I need some 50mm longer than stock they should be fine right? Just give them my factory ones and they make new ones which are 50mm longer.

pretty much - its mainly matching the fittings

my fronts had to be made as one single line rather than a split line for starters

So far they are holding up well - and are NZ approved - which is extra sweet
