Who do you folks recommend.....does not specifically have to be someone in the wgtn region.

You'd more than likely find it better off to buy a new unit, I recall I enquired about a Pioneer faceplate when I lost one a few years ago.... price wasn't wallet friendly.

Some of the older face plates arent too bad, but given that the 5850 is only a couple of years old it may still be quite expensive.
Anyone who sells the headunits can get replacement parts. But yes, they tend to be 2/3 the cost of the headunit 8O

yeah I had similar thoughts re-buying a whole unit.

Tis not my unit, is a friends, who had face plate & remote stolen when house was done over, and to make it worse they didnt have insurance :evil:

Might advise the trademe option for a new / secondhand head unit

Serously, Ashley Audio in Te-Aro - Home of the new bypass, if your lucky some of the older pioneers you can swap the faces around on, else he might have a spare part.

I could get it, but it's probably just as easy for your mate to grab it off Monaco themselves, or a local company to save the extra handling.

Part number is XXA7430, but you shouldn't need it anyway
