Interclub Round 5: Pursuit Sprints Speed Event.

Powerbuilt Tools Raceway, Ruapuna Park .



Sunday 12th August

Promoted by Canterbury Car Club.



Time: Documentation: 8.30am – 9.30am sharp

Drivers Briefing: 10.15am

Event Start: 10.30am sharpish



Cost: $50.00 with Logbook

$55.00 with No Logbook Garage: $10.00

Race Gas Fuel available. Eftpos / Credit Card facilities available.



Requirements: Car to Schedule A requirements, Overalls, Helmet, Extinguisher, Club membership (Track)

Clubsport license or better, Tyres – FREE

If carrying passengers a FULL Roll cage is required



Event: Pursuit Sprints, Groups of 10 Indian filed to the start line – 2 runs per course.

Course is 2 laps (standing and flying), then warm down lap. 3 courses minimum. (Normally 4)

Cars flagged away in pairs, Pairs minimum 5 seconds apart.



Timing & Results Timing by stopwatch. Cone displacement = 5 seconds. Wrong direction – slowest competitors time

Plus 5 seconds.

Best run of each course, accumulated OR all runs accumulated (announced on the day)

Results announced at Social after last event in the Club rooms & www.canterburycarclub.co.nz

Would be there if I could, but a car with no engine would be no good.

probably too early too ask,
but do you know about the one scheduled for 16th september?
will it run the same format?
Lookag at that as a date to have my car completed by so I can do an event as a test before the race season?

Popped along for a looksie, just gutted I missed Crispy86 getting his FX onto 2 wheels :lol: well done!

how did you get on in the end Chris? fine tune the front suspension better?
