98 Octane Petrol Stations WGN to Taupo

Postby BigDon » Fri Aug 24, 2007 12:43 pm

Right I know this is a dumb question, but can anyone tell me the location of 98 Octane service stations between WGN and Taupo (without detouring through Palmy?

Just put in a new O2 sensor as Im am trying to fix/diagnose some faults and dont want to run less than 98 (and wouldnt anyway if I had the choice).

mobil at bulls

and thats about it from memory

Carry a full jerry can if you're worried about cutting it fine, but at around 370kms distance to get there i'd hope you're not going to get that bad fuel economy.

There's also a BP at Taihape, but that's the only one one, unless you detour through Fielding or Palmerston Nth.

I used 96 a few times in the -four. It didnt complain too much. I'm sure you'll survive. Even if you just put in $20 to get you to the next 98-station....

Wgn -> fill up again in Taihape with ultimate 21L=270kms -> pukawa -> back to WGN with just under 1/4 tank left. total 800ks, so all good.
