Hey

Bought a TM gate and found if i blow through the top barb air comes out the bottom...

I thought the top and bottom compartments should be sealed from each other?

And in normal operation you just hook the bottom one up to the wastegate port on the turbo and leave the top one alone.

I guess i should take it back?

Yeah, opened it up and the diaphragm seems to have a tear right around the perimeter of it.

Pretty bs quality control.

It can happen on assembly - it get jammed in the top cover.

al from driven performance has geniune tial gates for 400 atm, i snapped mine up.

i have an audi quatrro external with flange you can have for 150 if youd like. bout the same size as a 38mm, and was good at 22psi for me.

I got mine for $150 new... I was thinking of just getting a tail diaphragm but the dude i bought it off got me a replacement.
Had just locktited the grub screws in too :twisted:

Gunna have to drill them out or something.

Thanks flygt4, i was originally looking for one of them, or a similar one but the trademe one should be sweet now.
