In that case i wonder how much more horsepower has been added with my Toyspeed windscreen banner and side window stickers. Or maybe loss of 5-10hp? :P

Hoping to get the race car down to 900ish dry with cage.

That's very interesting. My stripped and caged AW11 just weighed in at 1093kg incl driver (I'm 70kg) and 1/4 tank.

- Aim for little over 300 hp at the wheels, either by staying NA ($$$)

Thats a VERY big ask unless you are going to spend HUGE money on head porting, WILD cams, and the thing would be BARELY driveable in traffic.
it would essientially be, a 2.5 IL6 super touring car engine.

Nothing like a challenge. 8) It is my super long term goal and i'm not going to cheap out on anything if it isn't worth it.

Its been suggested to increase/decrease the compression ratio to 1:1 or something (not sure if that can be done, i know nothing about that sort of thing anyway) to make it rev like nothing else.

I know i could easily get 300 hp by slapping a turbo on, but... i dunno. Just doesn't seem right, i want it to stay NA and my preference actually lies with a supercharger at the moment. With one of those belt thingys to make it really whine. :D

Try something like 14:1 compression ;)

Are you using the SC gearbox? There's a fair bit of weight in that sucker (maybe 30kg more than a C5*?) plus the weight of your SC (10-15kg?), cage, seems like that could account for the extra 80kg you're carrying

I'm running the factory n/a gearbox (the 4agze was a conversion), and bigger bolt on Toyota brakes. The brakes would weigh about the same as the brakes on an s/c model.

got the car down to 940kg, as easy as ditching the power steering setup in it, more weight reduction to come
