Engine replacement for 4sfe

Hello is there an better engine that will bolt straight in to replace my 4sfe in a 95 Carina and give me more power ? Thanks

If you find the same year donor car you will probably find that the new loom will plug straight into your body loom and will either work straight away or work with minor mods.

Easiest to find a 3sge from a celica or curren - I recommend you buy a whole donor car, this way you will have all the silly little bits that you will need to get it going. e.g. loom, computer, engine, mounts, brackets, exhaust manifold and tailpipe etc, bigger brakes, disk rear brakes.
A whole donor car will cost less and be quicker than just buying an engine and then trying to find the hard to find bits!

Thanks KinLoud yeah the celica motor sounds good bet , i will start looking for the donor car , so most of the bits like rear disks will fit straight on ? mind is a St200 so all STxxx models parts interchangeable ? Thanks
