RUAPUNA TRACK DAY

Postby Mr Revhead » Mon Sep 03, 2007 2:38 pm

the MR2 club are holding a track day at ruapuna and have kindly extended an invitation to TS
have a look at the site mentioned.

RUAPUNA

Christchurch Monday 24 September.

are holding a non competitive track day. The day is for your average
everyday car and not so average one’s as well.

The PlayDay will be run on the full 3.33 Km circuit and run under the same
format as we always do but if you have never been to a PlayDay all the
information about what we do and how we do it is on our web site.

If you have a look at our web site gallery you will see we get all sorts,
GT3 Targa Porsche all the way down to Pontiac Lemons.

We have run 19 previous PlayDays in the north island with a growing success
each time.

As we have not been down that way before we have a lot of work to do to get
the numbers for the day so we would appreciate your help.

If any of your members would be interested, ask them to go to our website
www.playdayontrack.co.nz and have a look at what we do.

Cost will be $75.00 per car and you should get over 100Ks of track time.

I'm in :D I've already paid. It's always been too expensive for me to head north to play with the other racing MR2s, so given that some of them are coming down here, I owe it to them to be there

I've received an email from Chris Snook (the Chch MR2 coordinator).

"Hi there

Just a quick reminder about the track day next monday the 24th of September.

All is good to go and everything is falling into place.

If you have paid to participate then we expect you to be at Ruapuna by
8:30am for the drivers briefing with your overalls, helmet, and drivers
licence.
(Drive in the main entrance on Hasketts Rd and follow the road left at the
fork into the pit area.)

The fun will be starting at approx 10am and will go non stop to 4:30pm

As always, if you have any queries dont hesitate to contact me

Cheers

Chris Snook

Christchurch Area Coordinator
New Zealand MR2 Owners Club"
