what papers do i need to fill out if i buy a car thats de reged? been told that all i need is to get a letter from the previous owner signd etc stating that i brought the car legally from him, and give that to the complience people when i put it through complience, does this sound right, does he have to do any other paper work, ? or is the car just like so to speak "dead" and then i bring it back to life wen i get it reged?

Phone the compliance people, they will have all the answers.

They will have the correct ones at that, suprisingly

wouldn't guarantee that - in my dealings with various vtnz and ltsa branches in the last couple of weeks i've had different answers from almost every one of them!

can't be any worse than asking on here tho. everyone has their own opinions as to whats required so i'd still go for ltsa or the likes

does a fuel line have a "surge and overflow" pipe, the reason i ask is that there is the fuel line that runs accross the back of my engine bay, then comes down into a looped sort of pipe then goes into the chassis rail, what im wondering is when it goes into the rail does it have a hose to go into inside or just sit there ? and if it did surge then would it just drop into there and just dry up?
