Hey guys, I may need to pass on this meet. Having all four wisdom teeth yanked tomorrow, and will probably be in no fit state to drive, let alone eat or drink anything significant (I know what goes on when Saffa's have a braai!)

If its not too bad, I'll make a brief appearance (provided my face doesn't look like the elephant man).

Hope it all goes well, have some boerewors for me ;)

Bbq was great.
Had a constant flow of people coming and going so turned out to be a good night with good company.

Thank you to those who made the effort to show up as it was great to meet you and see people who haven't been seen in a couple of years (yes you know who you are)

Thanks to all of those who came along and made the first official TS AK MG a success.

We had a steady flow of people throughout the day as has been said before, I think all in all around 20 or so different faces. It was so good that there was even a bunch of us still sitting outside drinking untill past midnight. 8)

I think it could be a good idea to have these maybe on a monthly or maybe every second month, that way we can break in new members and discuss forthcoming events etc whilst having a good time around the BBQ!

I have some pictures of the event that I'll upload later tonight, I only really started taking pictures later in the day so it won't show all the faces that attented.

We discussed possible future events etc as well which I'll start off another thread with but so far plans are looking good for an eventful 2008 up here in Auckland!!!

Thanks for the venue HK. Just a shame a few more of the AKL TS members couldn't make it. Then again I'm sure they had more important things to do if they couldn't show up.
