GTT Radiator

Postby magnazan » Fri Sep 28, 2007 7:39 am

Whilst doing general checks under the bonnet last night i noticed that the 2 grommets at the top where the radiator is clipped into have some play. I can move the whole rad back and forth about 5cms. Just wondering if this is normal??

although not a GTT, the one in my runx moves about 1cm total, as in 5mm each way. 5cm doesn't sound right.

surely you mean 5mm is normal (as we suggest above) not 5cm?(as poster suggested)
Im no radiator specalist, but ive never had or worked on a car with 5cm play/movement in a all good setup
