AE92 GTi Ohm rating

Postby FYADUP » Wed Oct 10, 2007 9:26 am

Hey guys.

Whats the Ohm rating for the fuel tank sender in a 1991 AE92 corolla gti hatchback?

Will it be the same even if i go for an aftermarket fuel pump?

Thanks

The resistance changes depending on a full tank or not. Higher resistance is low fuel, low resistance is full fuel. Changing your pump wont affect it.

What are you trying to do with it? Aftermarket gauge?

Ok, you need to take your gauge out and measure the resistance across it, at each extreme, so low, and high fuel.

They don't have a constant resistance, but rather a range.
