Getting a car from Christchurch to Auckland

I've seen a car I like the look of on trademe but its in Christchurch... I live in Auckland :?

Can anyone recommend a company to transport it up here for me? Want to get some quotes so I can decide whether it would be worth it.

Why not fly down and drive it back up?
The way prices are looking at the moment for flights you could probably fly to CHCH for less than $50. :wink:

transporting a car that far is approx $700 well last time i checked anyways. will work out cheaper fo fly and drive/ferry/drive

Toll are around $500 depot to depot, chch to akl

just had a look for flights from akl to chch and i think theyve sold out till next year 8O

Drive & fly is the best option by far, did this a couple of months ago, ended up costing around $350 with gas & everything

I got a car up from there a couple of years ago
was about $680 with Jeffs transport

it cost me 700 to get a crashed carina down from auk, if its drivable then do it, are you sure all flights are booked? try the stand by list, if some cancels at the last minute then your in for a really cheap price, this time last year a friend girl got a flight for $17!!!

Fly then drive. My mate bought a dx wagon in dunedin and drove it back to auckland.....well bout 20mins south of blenheim and it caught fire. :cry:
Flew back from welly sent car back from welly on transporter 8O
