Quick question about rear seats in a Levin

Postby Quirky » Fri Oct 12, 2007 7:39 pm

The rear seats in a AE111 levin, can both sides fold down flat, or is it only the left side that can fold down? And how would you go abouts folding the right side down? (if you can)

thread can be deleted/locked when i get my answer cheers.

Chris

you dont mention model number but in ae101 - both sides fold down flat independantly, press the button on top of the seat.

Only the passangers side folds down. To take the other one down you have to first remove the bottom of the seat to get access to the bolts, undo the bolts then lift the seat up.

In AE111 and AE101 both rear seats fall down (60/40 style).
I am sure same goes in AE92.

define "fall down", any ae111 i've seen only has one section fold as said above.

unbolting the otherside doesn't count

Press the button on the each side of the seat and it will fall down.
AE101 definitely does this ( I used it as a bed ;) in a few occasions ).

Theres no button on the right side, in mine.
I guess it is only the half of it.... cheers anyways guys.
I thought there was a hidden button somewhere, much like when i had my fxgt, the tabs to pull the seats down were stuck inbetween the seats.

That is a very interesting point, another thing they saved money on when they went from AE101 to AE111.
So far AE101 has better speakers.
Gear shift mechanism is metal on AE101 while AE111 is plastic.
Interior is of higher quality on AE101 vs AE111.
Any other things I missed?
