GTT Spotlight Bulb Replacement

Postby BZG Wagon » Fri Oct 12, 2007 9:18 pm

Hopefully an easy (possibly stupid) question;

How do I replace one of the spotlight bulbs on my 98 GTT? Does the light 'click' out forward? Do I get the unscrew the bulb from behind? Or is it some other way?

Cheers.

Just for future reference;
1) Take out the screws holding the front part of the under car splash guards.
2) Slide your hand up under the bumper, there is a vertical (upside down) screw holding the light in at the back. Unscrew this.
3) Push the spot out from behind.

...still took an hour to figure it out lying on the driveway with no lighting... :x

My corolla lights would click out with out having to undo any screws. The screw for the spot light is in a bit of an awkward / unusual position too, but its all sorted now :D.

yeah the most simple jobs seem to take the most time to sort :twisted:

at least nothing is rusty on your car like an older car, that adds twice the time :lol:
