Hey, yeah you can get a link re-mapped for another car.
Not sure where though.

Whats mods have you done for your starlet which makes you go towards getting a link?

if its an old link(pre G3) you'll need to make sure its got the correct sub board fitted for trigger decoding.

otherwise its just a matter of wiring it correctly and getting it re-tuned.

Yeah, if i remember correctly you can remove the AFM when you get a link.
And yea, a link is what most people use for a 4age turbo, i have to get one for mine.

A link will deffinatly make your engine more reliable than the standard 4agze ecu if you did more mod's in the future, but alot of people can get away with just using the standard ecu on the 4agze.. i dont really know what would be the best option for a 4agze, if it were the other 4ages i would say yea it would be the best option.

if that goes ahead I may be keen around xmas/new years time probably.

links are expensive, but well worth it i think. if you can find a cheap second hand link setup for say a subaru or something, you can send it back to link and they will change the suboard to suit a 4age or something, i think it costs $50.

The one on trademe is an LEM, the one on here is a Linkplus.

The extra part that is with the trademe one is just an empty box to make it plug into the GT4 Celica without modifying the car loom, so would be no good to you.

The one on trademe is averagely priced for a V5 LEM,
and the one on here at $1000 is a good price too.

will just come down to to your budget.
