FATF spawned so many good quotes

"motec system exhaust"

"15g of parts overnight from japan"

"I live my life a 1/4 mile at a time..."

"I need nos"

"danger to manifold" (the floor falls off the car)

ahhh the good old days hahaha

bahahaha i think its time to watch the first one again. i'd forgotten about the 10 second 1/4 that takes 15 minutes with the dude looking anxious as he watches his laptop while doing 240 km/hr and rowing his 16 speed gbox...

and how the eclipse becomes uncontrollable and spins when it tops out at 140mph.... and another bottle of nos fixes that... sorta... :P

edit: but i actually like them as movies, as was said above, just dont take them seriously...

i dont see everyone saying how unrealistic die hard 4 was when the truck was being attacked by the raptor (i think thats what it was anyway) cos at the end of the day its only light entertainment.

oh you got me interested now so i started searching for the best quotes from the movie  man i didnt realise how many memorable quotes came from TFATF, its just a whole movie of cheesy one liners 8O

"I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bullshit. For those ten seconds or less, I'm free."

Brian: What's the retail on one of those?
Ferrari Driver: More than you can afford pal.
Dom: [turning to Brian] Smoke him.

Brian: Hey, wait, hold up! I don't have any cash, but I do have the pink slip to my car
Jesse: Wait, you just can't climb in the ring with Ali 'cause you think you box!
Brian: [points to Vince] He *knows* I can box! So check it out, it's like this: If I lose, winner takes my car clean and clear. But if I win, I take the cash, *and* I take the respect!
Dom: [laughing] Respect?
Brian: To some people, that's more important

"It's not how you stand by your car, it's how you race your car. "

"You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Corona."

"You look a bit tired... I think you should go upstairs and give me a massage"

"roads closed pizzaboy, find another way home"

I think it comes from the first movie, just after Walker brings in the wrecked Supra that they miraculously being back to life, when they show driving round a corner in convoy, Walker's work ute full to the brim with parts boxes...

Will be watching it if it has Vin Diesel... don't really care about Walker as he's a bit of a mannequin anyway :D Still have yet to see FATF 3- it's on video at home, where it has been for quite a while, haven't the heart to watch it in front of my flatmates! lol

yeh its gold wen he rolls up with the supra on the trailer, all burntout and pretty much just a shell, an doms like, wat r we gunna do with this piece. its a wreck
then jesse is like, yeh but look under the bonnet.. and its a 1jayzeee. and they r like oh yeeehh..

were was the good point again? its a burnout out wreck with an NA 1j lol.. WOOOOOWOOO

then all the parts lying on the bench.. theres a couple of standard intercoolers, and a bunch of other random crap.

"nanna shiftin, not double clutchin' like ya should"

"i almost had you...", "you never had me.. you never even had your car"

oh yeh, and in tokyo drift vin diesel rolls up in that old rod with drag slicks on the back.. its like, oh yeh this is gunna be a sweet drift comp.

oh and for the record, paul walker does well in 'Running Scared', not a bad movie. a lil fecked up tho.

personally I think the piss-take in High Octane 4 was the best "$&#$% the respect, gimme the bitches" and "I give my wife a 1/4 inch at a time, for those 10 seconds or less...I'm free" lol
but yeah I'll see it, the story can't be worse than Tokyo Drift and the acting can't be worse than in 2F2F.
