Yeah, we do.

I think I've said before, and it was confirmed earlier....as its being run by MCC for us, we have to abide by what they say. Apparently doing a motorkhana in the morning and sprints in the afternoon makes the permit cheaper too.

so broken record time here.

Whats the format of the 'afternoon's events'. One lap, three laps, all on the track at once, everyone must wear clown shoes, we all stand and watch Warwick chase a goat?

Because depeneding on the day, depends on the tires, depends on if I come up days before, depends if I need to find storage for car bits while I'm up there.

Just wanting the usual sort of one liner that a Club Club would put in the regs for a normal event, on how they plan to run it.

Yeah, I'm still waiting on those :?

From what I've managed to gather - we'll be going out in groups of 6-7, doing the laps (which I've been told is 3 as well as 4 :?)
Clown shoes are optional, but you must have a red nose on the front of your helmet.

This Manawatu club seems odd to me, They want us to do crappy motorkhana's on a day that we have payed to do track driving, but don't want to do any scrutineering or saftey checks at all? where's the sense in that?

If I have to do motorkhana I will be doing it in first gear at about 10km/h

Did I? Possibly, I've been told a couple of different stories at times.
Its to do with the permit for the day, makes it alot cheaper/easier apparently.

Also with this weather being like it is, the grasskhana is looking less and less likely.
There is however a Hot Rod show at Manfeild on the Sunday we could go check out, gold coin donation entry.

This is the amendment you want to read:

http://www.motorsport.org.nz/Pdf/Manual ... 033025.pdf

As the sprint event is classed as a Sch C Clubsport Basic event then you should be able to run your non-homologated roll-cage. However you will be unable to take passengers.

Julian decided it'd make life easier if no passengers were allowed at all anyway.
