trouble with kp overheating on warmup

when warming up my starlet it overheats the 4k.the thermostat was working fine at the start of the week.its my 3rd one this year.any idea what rooting them?

going to give the system a good flush looks kinda gunky.think it may be the thermostat as it seems to mainly effect the car on warmup which is where its regulating the temperature

buying another 4k might not fix it, could be one majorly blocked radiator. A couple of good flushes might sort it.

You can test thermostats by sitting them in a cup of boiled water and checking it opens when the waters hot and closes when the water cools enough

They are actually getting pretty hard to find in cheap unmolested condition now.

no luck with the thermostat in the cup of boiling water did nothing.so im runnig with out it.coling system seemed clean but gave it a good flush anyway.
