The $31 was for the one vent in stock. The other vent is ex japan for $93 on 3-4 weeks.

The one in stock has been taken though, by me :)

My 1990 celica has this extra problem, but i don't think i can get the foam/vinyl down for fear of cracking the foam.

Anyone know how to recover a dash or knows how much it costs? Or an alternative way of getting the foam/vinyl down without major cracking?

just go to a dash / interior place they know how to fix it wen i got my interior re done in my toyota they fixd the bubble in the dash in the corner between the flat part and the bit that goes over the gauges, also fixed the vent problem too i think they inject glue then heat the vynal and stick it down.

i tried to fix the bubble my self once and it worked for about a week till the next very hot day i heated it with a hair dryer so it was plyable then got a cloth with ice on it and cooled it back into position.

Well I was gonna post something about it but figured I'd do a search :D

Was tossing up on whether just finding a nicer dash but found those parts. Might work out a bit more expensive judging by the prices but would make it look a lot better.

Thanks Mr Revhead

For future referene, when I hopefully get my vents from Mr Revhead.

How hard was it getting these in?

I'm assuming that they don't just clip into the existing ones.

Thanks

Yeah sure. I'm pretty sure the old vents just come out and you stick the new ones in. I've got my old ones out now in preperation for the new ones.

I will post back when i get them.

Got my parts yesterday :D

You simply just take the existing vents out and stick the new ones in and thats it!

Fits nice ... it doesn't completey line up with the dash but it still looks far better!

Very happy!
