I hear you :) ... the little mirage gets put with corollas sometimes because she's a baby 1600 hehe.... but kept the 2lt turbos honest in my group. Actually I think my car was the only n/a in my group. The rest f/i. classic.

The lap timing with all three together was certainly 'interesting' ah well didn't count for 'real' points :D

hey look i don't know how fast i was going and i don't really care, i enjoyed myself my car exceeded my expectations and i really enjoyed running with the supras in the last outing.

my aim for the whole weekend was to get the car to the track race it and do my 200kmph down the main straight in which i was successful in both.

so i'll see you all at the next trackday

Yeah man thats the spirit :) Saying the car was doing around 1:17s is unrealistic, but thats just because that kind of time is completely insane.... its definitely not a criticism of the car, as the car was quick and clean - it was good to see it out there. Anything faster than 1:25 is a fair clip for a road car.

So do we have a list of the times run for the day?

I have absolutely no idea what times I did as the wench forgot to time me although I know it wouldn't be flash i would've liked to know.
I timed her at a best of 1:17 something and a few 1:30's

I didnt know i was being timed till the end of the day...
If i did, i could have gone faster... by only a few 10ths of a second.

BUT, either way i got to do things that just are not posible on the street. Which is in my opinion, the whole point of the track day. it cost $100 for a day of behaviour which if preformed on the street would have landed a fine ten times that amount.
To find who is "fastest" the track is the place to do it. Ive have always left asking for more power/brakes/suspention from all track days but never have i left with a frown. learning the limits of a car then pushing them further is so rewarding, its why i havent done much to my Levin. She may be slow, old, eats oil, rolls worse than a canoe in a storm, but boy, it dam fun!

For now...

full interior in a mark 2 weighs 3.4 kgs :P

300hp cossie motor in a mk2 would have a very similar power to weight to those supras i reckon.
and when you look at tyre size/weight ratio i reckon it'll be in the escorts favour.

most definitly not your average escort
