nah they arent lights they are just like a flexible plastic pads with two wires coming out of them. they dont seem to do anything but i dont want to just rip them off incase they do something and the wires are live or something.

They had these on cars in aussie. They look like sensor strips that you put on front and rear bumpers that beep or whatever when you get to close to something.

You'll probably have to trace the wiring if you want to be sure they're not live. Wouldn't be surprised if they run right through the doors and make an appearance in the kick panels.

Wow a double double post.

Did you try testing with the car in reverse? Or running? Sometimes they need to be like that. It would be a strange place to have parking sensors though- Its a strange one.

My guess - they glow when you turn your lights on (probably need to be quite dark to see this

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!
