my ae86 is sad

Postby mr30%jr » Tue Oct 30, 2007 8:19 pm

i was cleaning up rust on the the ae86 and i was looking at the rear flare and looked a little yuk and rounded and had some rust bubbles soo i used a strip disk and pulled all the bog of to reveal a dented to $&#$% gaurd and welded up flare which is really terible and i got rust wholes everywhere

anyone know how much a full 2k respray will set me back roughly if i strip it

just after some rough prices on repairs

thanks
ben

Last price Revhead gave for rear quarters (now about 1.5yrs old I think) was $385ish.

Thats like mine, big rear flares are cracking. Will be getting them redone in metal at a later date, hopefully with more straightish style to match the fronts.

Good on ya for being proud of your car, too many people own cool cars and don't give a damn about them these days.
